This Privacy Policy explains how Fady Hisham Youssef Amin Hanna ("rsvpto.app", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use the event-booking platform at rsvpto.app (the "Platform"). It applies to Organizers who run events and to Guests who book them.

We operate the Platform. When you book an event, the Organizer of that event also receives the information needed to manage your booking and is an independent controller of that information, as explained below.

Information we collect

Information you provide:

  • Organizer account details, such as your name, email address, and password, and the content you add about your events.
  • Guest booking details, such as the name, email address, and (where requested) phone number of the person booking, plus any per-attendee information an Organizer asks for — for example attendee names, dietary requirements, or sizes.
  • Messages and requests you send us, for example when you contact support.

Payment information:

  • Payments are handled by our third-party payment providers. We do not collect or store full card numbers. We receive limited payment information such as the amount, currency, status, and a reference for the transaction.

Information collected automatically:

  • Basic technical and usage information, such as your device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with the Platform — collected through cookies and similar technologies and a privacy-focused analytics provider.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • provide and operate the Platform, including creating events and processing bookings, payments, and refunds;
  • send transactional messages such as secure management links, booking confirmations, receipts, reminders, and waitlist offers;
  • provide customer support and respond to your requests;
  • protect the Platform and our users by detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • understand and improve how the Platform is used; and
  • comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to run the Platform, including with:

  • Organizers — when you book an event, the Organizer of that event receives the booking and attendee details so they can manage and deliver it. The Organizer uses that information under their own privacy practices and is an independent controller of it.
  • Service providers — payment, email, hosting, and analytics providers that process information on our behalf to operate the Platform.
  • Authorities and others — where required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or us.
  • A successor — if the business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Platform — for example, to keep Organizers signed in and to keep bookings secure — and a privacy-focused analytics provider to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without the essential ones.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Platform, support your bookings and events, and meet our legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. Some records relating to payments are retained for longer where the law or our payment providers require it. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Security

We protect personal information using measures such as encryption of data in transit, access controls, and single-use management links for bookings, and we rely on payment providers so that full card details never reach our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to certain uses. To exercise these rights, contact us at fgawly@strategiflows.com. If your request relates to a booking, you may also need to contact the Organizer of the event, since they independently control that information.

Children

The Platform is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where the changes are material, take reasonable steps to notify you.
